  • 36% Military Annual Percentage Rate (MAPR) Ceiling: All-inclusive interest cap covering finance charges, origination fees, credit insurance, and administrative fees.
  • Prohibition on Auto Title Liens: Creditors are strictly prohibited from securing consumer credit through the certificate of title of a motor vehicle for covered servicemembers.
  • Mandatory Active Duty Database Verification: Lenders must verify active duty status through the Department of Defense (DMDC) database prior to originating any credit transaction.
  • Mandatory Arbitration Prohibition: Creditors cannot force servicemembers into binding arbitration waivers or deny legal court access.
